On May 20-21, we hosted our fifth annual ManageBac User Group Conference in Asia-Pacific at Shanghai Community International School – Hongqiao Campus (SCIS). We had the pleasure of welcoming 128 participants from 51 schools.

We were greeted on the first day of the conference by Head of School Katherine Brewer and Technology Coordinator Ross Orchard, followed by a company update from Managing Director Angelica Nierras. Participants then went straight into track-specific breakout sessions (i.e. IB programme, Technology, Achieving Buy-in, General, and Support Desk).

Sessions 1

Day 1 cooled down with a Happy Hour in the courtyard. Then moved onto the French Concession for a taste of Yunnan at Lost Heaven.

Day 2 began with an introduction to our partners AssessPrep and BridgeU, followed by sessions focused on reporting and communication.

Sessions 5

Sessions 6

The final sessions after lunch provided a last round of Q&A for each IB programme, and a Technology job-alike.We had a great time connecting with new and longtime ManageBac schools. A huge thank you to SCIS for hosting us.
